Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC)
The flag of the Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) is a green flag (the same green as on the ANC and IFP
flags). The PAC logo featuring a map of Africa with the star in the place where
Ghana is located to represent Ghana as being the first sub-Saharan African state to achieve independence
in the 20th century), is in the middle of a green field. There a a number
of golden rays coming from the "star" radiating across the
continent. The
PAC flag has no white and is exclusively, black, gold and green.
The PAC is a small radical leftwing black nationalist party that broke
away from the ANC in 1959 in protest at the ANC's domination by the South
African Communist Party.
